My, my, it's been a while!

One month and I haven't posted. Shame on me.

I guess there was just too much going on in WoW and in RL for me to really concentrate on this blog again. First off, I guess is that TOC came out around the time I stopped. And then there was also when Empresse, my hunter, hit 80. I've been OCDing about her for the past month and I am REALLY glad to say that I wouldn't be surprised if the guild allows her to be my new main. I am good with that class. I went from an ungeared newb to HAWT SMOKIN HUNTER in about 2 months. OH YEAH BABY!!!

WTB moar time to play WoW

I've been having a hard time in RL and raiding atm. I dunno. I just feel really burnt out on Emgalla. Not to mention, I havent had any luck staying online during a raid. /sigh

Anyways... On better note... Empress is 80 YAAAY!

I am sooo gonna be late for work...

Yeah, it's about 9 am right now and I REALLY have to go to work soon. But no, I decided to write this cause I am a dork!!!

Empress hit 77 last night but because I was about ready to pass out after that Heroic Caverns of Time run, I didn't get to buy her a mount. So yeah, my baby can fly now... /tears of joy.

Working hard for the money... wait, I get paid? O_o

The things you get to do when you don't play WoW:
- Clean closet. It looks like somebody with OCD cleaned that mess up!
- Watch TV. 1 hour of primetime = more brain cells killed than when I drink a whole bottle of vodka (not that I'd ever try that!!!)
- Bake cheesecake. Omnomnomnom
- Finally finish website for my job. It's simple, but still. It's better than us not having one!!!

So yeah, I txted my GM and a couple of my guildies that I'm coming back tomorrow or Saturday. Unfortunately they just might kill me for missing Sunday's raid too because I am working during raid time . My coworker's grandpops passed away and I offered to work for her. May he rest in peace.

It's been one week since you looked at me...

Yeah so I haven't updated my blog in a week. I just had too much going on in real life, can you blame me?

To summarize this past few days in one word: HELLISH!
- People didn't show up for work so I had to cover for them and do a double shift /wrists
- I got into an accident at work on Saturday and almost sliced my left fucking thumb off!!!
- While I was washing dishes on Sunday, the cut opened up and wouldn't stop bleeding. Missed a raid because I had to go to the ER. Don't these docs know I've got a raid to go to? Ugh. 2hrs of waiting and it took them less than 2 minutes to patch me up. Seriously... $200 for that? I should've just sewed my own wound together at the cost of a needle and thread? LOL [Why doesn't Prayer of Mending work in real life. Gddamit!
- Because of the trip to the ER, I realized I didn't have enough moolah to renew my WoW subscrition (lack of health insurance FTL!). Since that was the case, I thought I might as well go MIA from WoW for a week or so and let my thumb heal.

Too lazy to redate entries so Imma just sum it all up the best I could:

Emgalla finally got to DPS the whole time (/faint) she was in 25-man Naxx with a PUG group on Saturday night (Who says Imma let a cut on my finger stop me from playing WoW?). According to my friend's recount, I got to be 6th in total damage, which does mean something to me since I've DCed during 3 boss fights. Didn't get the Dying Curse (/CRY!!!) But hey, I got me the Extract of Necromantic Power as consolation.

Before my subscription ran out today, I got Empress to 74. Yay me!

OK, so how many days before I start twitching like a crack addict? Imma have some serious separation anxiety. BLEH.

If I made a priest cry, will I go to hell? ROFL So, some people haven't learned their lessons when it comes to trying to bid against me. Overexcited little bitch got outbid by me three times in a row. If I had rolled on the T8.5, I probably would have won too ROFL. But eh, I am not spending DKP on a token that costs 2x moar than normal item drops.

So the guild went to Yogg tonight. Sad to say, we didn't even get past the second phase. People refused to listen and continually kill the adds while the fuckers are near the raid group. Not to mention the d-bags who refuse to stay away from the clouds.

Out of frustration, our GM and the officers decided we go to Eye of Eternity instead. Well, Malygos should've been a walk in the park since we're all better geared now... but eh, no matter how much you gear someone up... it's easy to see through the gear that people are sissynannies who can't play worth shit.

Didn't win the roll for the drake... it looked so fucking awesome though. At least I found me a group that will farm that fucking place. WEWT!!!

A few of the people in my 25-man group wanted to do a 10-man Malygos. Unfortunately, Emgalla was already saved and no other healer wanted to step up. So I logged on Ezraelle to help. Paid off that I said yes though:

I went ahead and splurged on Emgalla and bought about 6 Outland flying mounts for her. Trying to see if I can get 50 mounts one of these days... I think I got about 8 last night and cost me 160x3 + 100X5... almost 1K down the drain... not to mention me buying a few pets in the process... /sigh

Holy Achievement Spam, Batman!!! O_o

I pretty much did a reputation grind for Undercity. Went to Stratholme a couple of times for the Runecloth and about 20 or so stacks later, I gave up for the day.

I think I've lost track of how many times I've done regular Trial of the Champions today. 3-80's, all went to heroic and multiple regulars. Enuff said.

My usual Naxxramas Undying decided we go to Malygos instead. We downed him clocking at 6minutes 3 seconds, missing the achievement by 4 seconds. I wish I had DPSed more or something. Don't know if that was it, but hell, I am a healer not a fighter after all. ^_^

I got Chain of the Ancient Wyrm for finally turning in the EoE quest (ROFL!) and the group gave me Greatstaff of the Nexus. Because of DCing issues, we didn't attempt Naxxramas today. Oh well.

I think I did pretty well today though. Lotsa accomplishments on multiple toons.

Lazy Dayz...

So my plan for today was to level Empress. What do I do instead of pushing to level her? I try to get stuff for Emgalla. ROFL

I got asked to heal for ToC Heroic. It wasn't that bad as when I first healed for it and got a few ppl killed (late-night TOC run w/ sleepy healer FTL!). Then the group went to VH and COS. I finally got my bronze drake YAY!

Logged on Empress again and got her to about 1 bubble away from leveling when a guildie asked for DPS for ToC. I thought, why not. Tried it about three times. A pretty decent DPS wrist drop so it wasn't that bad of a run.

The raid tonight was pretty decent. We downed Mimiron after 3 tries and Vezax in 1. As for Yogg, we got him to 57% which is a record for the guild, I guess. I dunno whether to be excited about Sunday's run though.

I was planning to go to ToC on Ezraelle but unfortunately, my boyfriend wanted me to sleep early and pulled the modem on me.

So I got home after an epic fail driving text (Note to self, do NOT get in car with shoes wet and not expect your foot to slip, causing you to hit a damn curb!!!) and all I really wanted was to do something right.

So, this damn patch made me miss my raid. I started DLing at around 8pm and it ended at about 11:30, 45 minutes after our raid leader called out the group. /SIGH.

Tried the new ToC instance. Now, that Knight's Tale wanna-be bullcrap is just lame. Gayer than a mofo who's got an epeen stuck to his outhole.
The instance itself seems alt-friendly, if anything. The drops, from what I've heard are ridiculous. Might as well skip Naxx 10 and just farm the shit outta 5-man TOC. And the sad thing is... I meant the REGULAR run. /sigh. Can this game get any more mainstream?

Finally, A Lucky Break

Went back into Ulduar with Son of A Lich. Downed the bosses pretty smoothly this time, thank god!

Got me some pretty cool Shadow Priest gear that no one really cared for anyway:

I went to Undercity to DPS the heroic dummy. I did about 2400 DPS. Not bad for non-enchanted gear. Gotta buy moar headpiece glyphs and better gems.

PvPing is as much fun as a bullet to the head...

So it's been a looong while since I've done any PvPing. A friend sorta coaxed me into trying and I think I did pretty well. So Empress went to Arathi Basin and did top damage. Also went to Eye of the Storm with my guildies. Finally got the achievements The Grim Reaper and Damage Control.

A little after that I healed 10-man VoA on Emgalla. I then saw a LF OT for Naxx 10-man on the LFG channel and decided I helped out my buddy. Let's just say it was the slowest, most boring Naxx I had ever been in.We pretty much did 1 wing in three hours.

In between I tried to level Empress (/huffpuff). By 7:30, no one was online for 25-man raid for Ulduar so our raid leader called it for the night.

Again, I went back on Empress but a guildie whispers me and asks if I wanted to come. I asked if I could DPS instead of heals and I was invited. After a few pulls, one of the priest healers wussed out on us so I stepped up to heal, only because I get to roll with DPS as my main roll (lootcount sucks ass LOL)

In the middle of the raid, I found out that one of the tanks was an old friend. We got to talking and thank goodness he's pulling for me next time they raid Naxx. He said that he will try to get one of my alts in (instead of Emgalla). WEWT!!! Always pays off to be nice sometimes ^_^

Today was my dayoff but I didn't really get much done WoW-wise. I had to take my written driver's exam (passed at 92%, oh yeah!!!), cleaned the house, cooked dinner and did some laundry. /FLEX

I just chilled the rest of the night and quested on Empress. She hit 70 just a few minutes after this post. ^_____^

FFS people, can't I have a sick day without someone begging me to heal for Ulduar?

OK maybe it was partially my fault for not leaving a message in the forums .
And also the fact that my raid leader has my phone number and that he'd been calling me to log on, but I forgot to remind him that my phone has been broken since yesterday... /sigh

So I log on late for the raid (we raid at 7:15 and I sorta logged on at 8) and 5 whispers covered my screen. The conversation ranged from someone begging me to join... to someone who's about to commit a mass murder. I feel like I'm shrink, FFS. I should get paid for this shit!!!

I just stayed on an alt til 8:30 when our guild master begged me to come. Much to my demise they had only downed the Flame Leviathan. Dear god. As I stayed longer in the guild, I realized that there were only 5 healers (I was the 6th) and the last two healers were just fucking dead weights.

Now, I can include a 7 paragraph long rant on this bullcrap, but I am not feeling too well. Maybe I'll write about this some other time...

It's pretty sad that we couldnt even get past Hodir. I don't know what happened. It's just... argh... people died too fast and people started to not give a shit anymore, I guess.

This guild is showing the same symptoms of the 2nd raiding guild I've been in. I dunno how much longer we'll last until people start leaving. Dunno whether to be scared about this or to be immune.

iDemise, I HEART YOU!!!

Quested with Empress the whole day and finally got her to level 65. When her rested experience ran out, I started playing Lycoris. I got her to 52, at least.

I dunno how this would've been possible without frigging iDemise. Prolly the best levelling addon I have ever seen. I normally wouldn't advertise stuff for free but hell, they paved the road for me and help me level my alts to 80 with ease.

Again, another uneventful run. Finally got to Vezax. I got Mantle of Unknowing, but I don't know whether it's worth breaking my 4-set bonus. Decisions, decisions.

WoW 101: PUGs Suck Major Ass, Deal with It!

Anyways, an heroic Naxxramas with some guildies and some people from no-name guilds. Let's just say the Raid Leader isn't really too credible with the strategy. He also sorta pushed us into going into the raid channel on OUR guild vent but some of us stood our ground and stayed at our own, quiet (yeah, SUUUUURE) channel. The raid had the IQ of dead goldfishes so we gave up after two bosses.

I was lucky enough to get Empress to 64. I stayed in LFG while running around Zangarmarsh when I got invited to a group with a level 80 warrior in it. Got halfway through level and I'm pushing to 65... /tired

PWNT via DKP

So I won some kick ass gear today. Finally got rid of my T7 wrist.

Anyways, it took about 10 seconds before anyone bid on the Shackles of Odalisque when it dropped and I imagine I was the only one who really needs that item. Another holy priest waited til I bid for the item then bid also. Fortunately, I had more DKP than that girl so I got the item anyway. A few bosses later, the Sandals of the Ancient Keeper dropped. Now, I am not a very greedy person and I would've gladly not have bid for this item, but just to spite her, I waited until she bid before I did. Apparently, even after the bid on the Shackles, I still had more DKP than her anyway. WoW.

Achievement today too: Heroic I Have the Coolest Friends. Not bad for not even trying today.

One of my healer buddies didn't get a chance to run today. He's a beast in heals but at least today, I got to be 3rd in heals. He always kicks my ass. Damn him!!! I still can't beat the Druid healer (yeah, are you nuts? I think Imma break my own fingers just TRYING to outheal him) and the shammy healer... gah, how is this ever gonna be possible? /wrist)

After finishing Iron Council (Regular) on Hard Mode the day before with another guild, it was pretty upsetting that we took about 6-7 tries to get IC down on Heroic without bothering with any modes.

It was a pretty uneventful evening. I think the whole time was spent between the officers and wanna-be officers arguing over how not to fail at kiting adds on the Yogg-Saron fight. The closest we ever came to downing him is finally initiating Sara.

And a mage kills us again...

I hung out with the Son of Lich people again. It's pretty refreshing not to run with my guild every time though, you know? I mean, who wants to be cooped up with the same people every damn day?

SOAL decided we start with the Construct Wing. We killed the fatass and the wanna-be-Captain-Hook-with-a-syringe with ease. As for Thaddeus, well, let's just say another mage made a booboo. I don't exactly know what happened, but I'm gonna hypothesize that he didn't know his positive from his negative.

The raid broke up seconds after Thaddeus died. I got on Ezraelle and went to my usual mining route. I managed to pick up 6 saronite nodes in less than 15 minutes.
Minutes later, I get psted to go to AQ 40... I was sorta hesitant to go because I didn't really know what I was getting into. I relogged back on Emgalla. Unfortunately, AQ did not agree with me and kept DCing me from the game.

I logged on Ezraelle as a final attempt to tell the raid leader that I give up on logging on Emgalla for AQ. I haven't even decided on whether to stay on Ezraelle when an old friend, Inez, psts me to come heal for his group for Heroic Naxxramas.

I knew that Emgalla didn't really need anything from there and Ezraelle does need more healing gear so I begged for them to let me stay on Ezra to heal (dual spec for the win!!!). I think I did pretty well with healing this time around. Ezraelle is slightly better geared than she was the first week of her dual-spec.

I didn't win any healign gear (/sigh) but I did get some cool offset items:
Cloak of Armed Strife, Repelling Charge... and the piece de resistance: Broken Promise. Ahhh, that's the main thing I came to Naxx for... ALL MINE!!! /psychobabble.

Finally got the emblems to get me a new trinket: Egg of Mortal Essence. I can't believe I top 4 in heals healing with a damn tanking trinket ROFLMAO. I wish Emgalla could've sent it to Ezraelle though. I haven't used that on her since I've been running Heroic Naxx.

Now That's What I Call Raiding: Part 2!

So we downed Mimiron in one try tonight. About 10 tries and 70Gs in repairs later we downed General Vezax. The night would've gone a lot smoother if people had remembered to interrupt the boss and if people had remembered not to kill everyone else from the flying shadow bullets of doom, but oh well.

We had a few chances to smack Yogg on the head, but hmm, I dont think we're ready to down him just yet.

So, I decided to buy a trinket for Ewa this morning. Darkmoon Card: Berserker. Got it for about 300 Gold which really isn't that bad. I battered the heroic dummy and got about 2200-2800 DPS out of this toon. Before I could barely even do 2100. So worth the 300Gs.

I also went and bought Emgalla a few Emblem gear. Got her Sundial of the Exiled and Valorous Mantle of Faith. She also did about 2500-2800 DPS. Not too shabby IMHO. I think I need to figure out my spell rotation before I can actually do some real damage. /sigh

Now that's what I call RAIDING!!!

So today we actually had a good day raiding. We downed Lev, Ignis, Razor, XT, Kologarn and Auriaya easily. We had a lil trouble with Freya and the Iron Council but not bad.

I didn't win anything but Bracers of Unleashed Magic for offset. It was worth 9 DKP, which I thought wasn't that bad. Now I won't have to worry about Shadow Priest gear... /sigh. That's a long ways to go before I am really ready to be one.

Undying Title... so close yet... a mage had to DIE!!!

I pretty much did nothing today. Did a few crafts (real life crafts, not in-game.. /sigh) today and ran around Sholazar Basin to gather up some Crystallized Water and Saronite Ores.

Invites for 10-man Ulduar went out at around 715 pm but there weren't that many people online that wanted to go so it got cancelled. So I decided to OCD about my gear. I regemmed and re-enchanted and even switched some of my pieces around to maximize the heals and the mana regeneration.

In between trips to my bank and the auction house, my old GM whispered me asking if I had wanted to go with them to 10-man Naxxramas for the Undying title. Of course I hesitated at first, since I've never even come close to clearing two wings without someone dying. But yeah, he convinced me pretty well and I went.

Everything went as smoothly as I had expected (hey, they're like the 3rd top raiding guild in the server. They better be good! ROFL) And I got a few DPS pieces along the way YAY ME!

We got up to Kel'Thuzad with no one dying at all, not even trash. But what killed our dream that night is when KT was down 10% and one of the mages decided to not step out of the fissure. There was a VERY awkward silence in vent after that.

In retrospect, I should've used Guardian Spirit because I already saw him not move at all. But hell, it wasn't my fault. I am not even 100% sure that applies on that fight and the mage really should've moved. I got asked to come back with them next week and I'm glad to say that even with that minor fuckup, I don't mind going with them again.

I dont EVER wanna be a Master Looter again!!!

So I PUGged Heroic Naxxramas and that probably was the worse thing I ever had to do. I had intended to raid lead, not Master Loot. I don't know what would've been worse. I don't wanna relive this day so let's just say, I had at least 4 fuckups when it came to giving the loot to the wrong person. ME + FAIL MASTER LOOTER.

I got a lot of healing gear for Ezraelle though.

We started the raid at about 3pm and it ended at around 8. Pretty long, in my opinion, since my guild can zoom through it in under three hours.

And then to make my day much brighter, I got asked to heal for a FAIL Ulduar 10-man. (note the sarcasm?) It took us about 2 hours of dying before they called it.

WTB cyanide. Anyone got some to spare???

It sucks when you know that you're trying so hard to do your job and other people are just riding your coattails. /SIGH
So today, it cost me about 46 gold in repairs and took us 2 hours to down Thorim... Really, just shoot me. Please. At least I got my T8.5 headpiece token!

So Emgalla had a meltdown...

I decided that I will go dual-spec on Ezraelle so there are more chances I can go to Heroic Naxxramas on offdays (as both heals and tank) and get better tanking gear during main/offset rolls. Just in case someone in our guild bails and I need to get into Ulduar 10-man as an off-tank. Might as well come prepared, IMHO.

The mats for the cape she needs didn't cost a lot cause I had the core items. So I logged on Ewa and it took me about 2 and a half hours to farm 3 Eternal Lifes in Sholazar... hell, that's worth not spending 150Gs since it's overpriced in the Auction House. Got 4 greens to DE and about 40Gs in vendor trash, 7 Titanium and 4 stacks of Saronite. Not bad since I was also on the phone with my mom the whole time. Yay for multi-tasking!

Anyways, in the middle of the farming session, a raid leader psts me and asks if I could heal for their Ulduar run. He tells me they are on Mimiron and I asked, "why do I always get asked to heal when it's already a practically finished instance?" and I guess he got a little ticked off cause we just had an argument about the whole thing a few days off.

I went AFK and just continued to talk to my mom. I came back and the raid leader asked me what was wrong. Then I told him about how this had been the 3rd week I'm being asked to step in someone's stead because they can't stay logged on later in the night. And that the guild is making me feel like I'm back-up instead of a core raider. Apparently, they had wanted me in there in the first place but they hadn't seen Emgalla cause I was on my alt.. /sigh. Miscommunication FTL. Anyways, things got straightened out so we're ok. I guess, i just gotta be more open about stuff like this instead of letting it all bottled in.

Moar healers... again...

I dunno if I should be concerned at all really, but recently there's a HUGE influx of healers in my guild. I want to say this past few weeks since I've been back from Hawaii, they'd introduced about 4 new healers into the guild. As far as I know, one is a fail healadin.

But the question still stands... with this many healers, how do I know I am not about to get shelved?

I've been doing pretty well (don't die from stupid shits) especially when I have an assigned tank. As for healing charts, I am usually at the bottom, even without deaths and things like that. So its it the healing assignments that's screwing me up (concentrating on one guy instead of the whole raid?) or is it my gear? Many people have complimented my gear. I have been trying to do some research on how to gear myself and what specialization and what to concentrate on when it comes to gear... but I haven't had any luck. Maybe imma pick on some other holy priest's head again soon. I am getting tired of getting my ass kicked.

So Popsicles re-enchanted all my gear and I regemmed most of them. It cost us both an arm and a leg, but my average unbuffed heals went up from 9300 to about 10500. SOO worth the Gs. Hopefully that helps me get higher up the healing charts.

wtb RL abolish disease

So, I didn't really log on WoW tonight. I had to play hookie from work in the morning because I had to go to the doctor. I have a bruise on my left hip about 8 cm by 3cm and I have no recollection on how I got it. It's REALLY black. Not even blue like normal bruises. There's a knot/lump on it and that's what made me worry the most. Anyways, the doc said it's probably nothing but to be on the safe side, they took a blood test. I came with one bruise, left with two where the needlestick went in... /sigh

Chuchuchu chaaanges... Well, it SUUUUCKS!!!

Was on an alt since they didn't need me (over-abundance of healers FTL!) so I went to PUG-Naxx run on Ezraelle.

It's just fucked up, this shit that's going on with Faction of Blood right now. I dunno. There is just too big an influx of people at the moment and they are trying different people out. I mean, that's fine with DPS imho but for them to bring in new healers in the middle of the instance, that's just stupid.

They bring in people who probably have never even been in Ulduar on boss fights that should never be attempted unprepared. And for these new people to not pay attention to what was said of them to do, that just pisses me off. For them to take away the spot of a raider who's been around longer and know the fight, that's insulting.
